Privacy Policy

This draft describes how SeriousHire intends to handle personal data. It is a working outline, not legal advice, and will be replaced by reviewed text before launch.

What we collect

• Account details such as name, email address and password (stored hashed).
• Candidate profile data: resume, parsed profile fields, optional intro video, availability and activeness confirmations.
• Organization data: company overview, team members, job postings and billing details handled by Stripe.
• Messages and call logs exchanged through the platform.

How candidate data is shared

Candidate resumes and parsed profiles are visible to permitted users of paid-plan organizations. A candidate's personal email and phone number are hidden by default and revealed only when plan and gating rules allow.

Protection and retention

Personal data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Third-party processing services must not retain or train on candidate data. Retention periods are to be defined.

Your choices

You can update or delete your profile, and pause your visibility, from your account settings.
